The festival of 'Rakshabandhan' is a celebration of love between brother & sister. It symbolizes the commitment that the two have towards each other. Traditionally, sister applies tilak to her brother's forehead and ties a rakhi.
Our Rakhis are handcrafted in sterling silver and authentic 'mauli' to keep the traditional soul of the festival.
Mauli (also referred as 'kalawa') is a red cotton thread with streaks of yellow, that is considered sacred and is usually tied around the wrist before any religious prayers or rituals in Hindu religion.
The collection also has coordinated 'gemstone embellished lumbas' for bhabhi.
Each of our rakhi or rakhi-lumba combo, will be shipped accompanied with a pack of roli-chawal & Rakhi greeting, to which we can add a handwritten note on your behalf, should you wish to.
And brothers! don't forget to pick a gift for your lovely sisters this Rakshabandhan. Check out our jewelry collection & you'll surely find something of her choice.
